I’m writing a book… I wrote a book

I never sought out to be an author, I never wanted to put a series of words together for the world to read or to help people. I know what you’re thinking, “You write on your blog consistently enough and these posts help.”

This isn’t about these posts, this is me sitting down and taking my thoughts, getting them organized to a point where they could be a book. At least 22,000 words in a cohesive order and full of helpful information.

I honestly always thought I would just be silly on my blog or even informative in reviews.

What I didn’t think I was going to do was help those in need of help. Those like me.

Neurodivergent Minded People

I didn’t think I would open up, explain how and why I struggled most of my life, and the little tools in life that I had developed to help me.

I didn’t even know there were issues I was overcoming with my ways and after my diagnosis and deep diving into research about Severe Inattentive ADHD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder living symbiotically in my brain, I pushed further.

Writing a book with ADHD

It’s almost like a good joke really.

“A man with ADHD sits down to write a book about ADHD and gets side tracked constantly every step of the way!”

It’s almost a pitch for a sitcom. However, the first draft is complete, the first edit is complete, and it’s back in the hands of an editor and proofreader.
